FAQs
Do I need to see my GP before I see a psychologist?
No. But if you are planning to claim a rebate under Medicare for 10 sessions per calendar year then you need a referral from your doctor and a current Mental Health Care plan. You can ask your doctor to send the referral directly to us or you can email them to us if you prefer.
How much are your fees?
It depends on the therapist and the service which is noted throughout the website. Please contact us if you would like further information.
How do I pay?
Fees are paid at time of booking by credit card. You provide your credit card details to a secure payment system (Stripe) and, when prompted, ask them to store your details for services with us.
How do I book a session?
Currently you can book a session with Belinda Hill through this website. Please contact us to arrange a booking with Madeleine Cavicchi.
What therapies do you use?
All therapeutic interventions are evidence-based therapies tailored to your needs, preferences and your current goals. They include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
What do I need to attend a telehealth sesson?
You will need a quiet, private space so that you can talk freely with your therapist. You will also need a device (phone, laptop, Ipad etc) that is connected to the internet. If you aren't sure if this will work for you book a free 15 minute consultation to see how it works and if you are comfortable with it.
Is telehealth for everyone?
Probably not, many people love the convenience but that may not suit everyone.
Do you offer face to face sessions?
Currently we offer telehealth sessions only.
Anything else?
Please submit a contact form or email your queries to admin@hill-psychology.com and someone will get back in contact with you to discuss your concerns or queries.
We look forward to working with you!
